I am having a problem using a Mac OS2016-05-03T23:01:14+00:00

Each new version of Apple’s IOS has different restrictions in place to try and prevent compatibility with third part touch screens. Each restriction requires us to develop a new version of firmware to work around the constraints implemented by Apple. If you are running your touch screen from a Mac with a recent IOS you may experience issues with the touch functionality such as incorrect calibration or the touch function not working in certain areas. We recommend downgrading your operating system to OS X Yosemite 10.10 or any version of OS X Mavericks.

My touch screen isn’t playing any sound2015-10-20T09:08:53+00:00

If you are using a VGA cable to carry the video signal from your PC to your touch screen you must also use a 3.5mm male to male audio jack cable to carry the audio signal. If you are using a HDMI cable to carry the video signal this will also carry the audio signal as well so there is no need to use an audio jack cable.
Once you have checked this please ensure that your “Surround Sound” setting is set to “Surround”. To do this press the “Menu” button on remote control, then press the right navigation button, and go to the “Sound” sub menu. Change the “Auto Volume” to “ON” if it isn’t already and change the “Surround Sound” to “Surround” (please do not select the “SRS TruSurround XT” option).

The video signal from my PC will not display on my Touch Screen.2015-10-13T16:16:42+00:00

Begin by ensuring that you have the correct input source selected, for example if you are using the front HDMI port you must press the “Input” button the remote control and selcet the source “HDMI (front)”. If your video signal still does not display press the monitor toggle button on your PC/laptop and select “Duplicate” if given the option.

I can only get one touch point on my screen/my multi-touch functionality isn’t working.2015-10-13T15:53:23+00:00

First, try opening Microsoft Paint and drag two fingers across the drawing area. If this produces two lines your multi-touch functionality is working correctly. If you still cannot get more than one touch point to register please check to make sure that your gesture control is turned on and that there are no other settings within your operating system preventing there from being multiple touch points when using a touch screen.

USB not registering at all/Touch functionality not consistent.2015-10-13T16:18:40+00:00

First, please ensure that if you are using the front HDMI port that you are also using the front USB port marked “TOUCH”. If you are using the HDMI port on the rear of the unit you must also use the USB port on the rear of the unit marked “TOUCH”.

If your touch function is still not working and you are using a Windows OS then please go to Control Panel – Power Options – “Change plan settings” – “Change advanced power settings” – USB settings – USB selective suspend setting – change this to “Disabled”. Then go to Control Panel – Device Manager – Universal Serial Bus controllers – right click on every sub-heading in this category and select “Properties”, then click on the tab ‘Power Management’ and untick ‘Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power’. If you are using a Mac, upgrade or downgrade the system to Mac OS X Mavericks (10.9 – 10.9.5), connect the Mac to internet and it will recognize the touch screen within a few minutes.

If you have gone through these steps and your screen’s touch functionality is still not working or is working sporadically please try using a USB hub to boost the signal strength of your PCs USB port.

The USB ports on the front of my Touch Screen (marked “USB”) are not working2015-10-13T16:19:10+00:00

The USB ports on the front of the Touch Screen are for the optional internal OPS PC only, if you are running your Touch Screen from an external PC or laptop these ports will be inactive.
